May 03, 2012 · I drive to the point where if i push it just a little bit more, it will start sputtering. When it sputters, I let my foot off the gas a little and it kicks right back in. On a warm day, once I start the car, it sounds like it's struggling to keep itself alive. My looks like its shuddering and my lights dim, until i hear a rev from my engine.

The car makes a clicking noise but won’t start. This sound usually means a dead battery. If not, check the wiring to and from the starter for a loose connection. The car cranks over but won’t start. Check the fuel supply to your engine. If that’s okay, check whether the electrical spark is getting to your spark plugs.

Aug 25, 2009 · Hi guys hope you can help. I will start at the beginning. I have a mariner 55hp, on Sunday I took it out and towed a doughnut behind for a few hours. Everything was going great and then it just stopped. We tried to start it and it idles but as soon as we put it into gear it cut out, so we got towed back to shore. When I got home with the muff's on I tried it again and it worked fine. Yes you ...

The issue was probably just a loose connection on the fuel injector connector. Keep an eye on it, if it doesn't come back over a couple weeks then pretty much for sure that was it. If you swapped in a cheapo coil I would put the factory one back one, save the new one for troubleshooting purposes.

Ok. Really weird. My bike will run for about 20 minutes or so, then start losing power and missing and sputtering. Then it stops. I wait 2 minutes, and it runs again for another 20 or so minutes. It's not the fuel valve (tried normal and Reserve), and it's not the plugs or wires (runs fine...

Idles fine until warm. Once warm idles a bit and decreases to 0 RPM. Will start right back up, because the battery somehow has enough cranking amps. Idle for a few seconds and die. But if I keep enough pressure on the throttle it will rev without issue. After some research I got a lineup: throttle body is dirty. need a new battery. fuel filter ...

> trouble codes and came back with a random misfire code. The car > runs perfect after it is warmed up. I think it just needs a major tuneup. You are very smart. The first place to look when you get misfire is the high voltage ignition section (spark plugs, plug wires, distributors, dist rotors, coils) - basically tune up. ===

1g n/a 5 speed, so everytime i hop in the car on a cold start and take off it drives great, but when it gets all warmed up ( after about 15 - 20 min drive ) the car sputters and idles ruff in between 800 and 1,000 rpm, also when i am cruzin and i am barely puting pressure on the gas pedal, it sputters and rocks the car.
Jun 06, 2018 · This should work itself out when the vehicle warms up. Be aware that it takes a longer amount of time for an automatic transmission to warm up than the engine itself. Shift Solenoids– Shift solenoids control the engagement of gears. When they go bad they cause all sorts of problems.
Jul 20, 2009 · The car is shaking because the rpm's have dropped too low. Putting it in park/neutral helps by taking load off, running ac hurts because of added load. The air bypass that allows you to idle with a closed throttle is restricting the air too much (because of built up crap) and causing it to drop revs.
Unusual noises, sputtering or backfiring may also be indicative of a bad fuel pump. If the flow to the fuel injection system in the vehicle is not consistent, the engine may develop problems. Watch for things like a hesitant start or take-off, or a problem with starting the vehicle.
Jun 21, 2012 · I have the same problem on my 08. I am heavily modified and I think the cold air intake is putting to cold of air into the motor. Once the car warms up completely it runs fine. Better let it run 10-15 minutes to stop this from happening.
